Karla Perica

Karla Perica was born in 1997 in Zagreb, where she graduated in Transmedia Dramaturgy from VERN’ University and in English Studies and Comparative Literature from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. She is a (screen)writer, filmmaker, critic and poet working in the game development industry. She is a member of Kinoklub Zagreb, Blank Film Incubator, and Croatian Screenwriters and Playwrights Guild. Her work focuses on themes of interpersonal relationships, digital intimacy, and the absurdity of everyday life. She is the author of several short hybrid films, and [Clouds: Ahead] / [Ne:bu dobro] is her first mid-length documentary-experimental film.
