Sharon is the wife of Pastor Tom and has been very active over the years when it comes to youth and children's ministries. She came to faith in the Lord when she was 8 years old through the evangelistic efforts of her AWANA leader. So it is not surprising that, as Sharon grew older, her involvement in AWANA grew as well. In fact, she was primary influence in bringing the very first AWANA program to the Lakeland Baptist Association of Wisconsin in 1986. Together with her husband Tom, the two of them have started and led three AWANA clubs in various church ministries in Kenosha, Wisconsin; Zion, Illinois; and also North Chicago, Illinois. Sharon currently serves as the youth minister of Lighthouse Church, teaching the "Saturday School" for children on Saturday evenings, and leading the Youth Ministry on Tuesday evenings.
