Film director, actor, screenwriter, producer. Honored Artist of Ukraine, Member of the Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine, Member of the Expert Commission at State Cinema. He was born on June 23, 1963, in the village of Velyki Korovyntsi, Chudniv district, Zhytomyr region.
In 1985, he graduated from the theater studio at the Kyiv Academic Theater, named after I. Franko. In 1993, he made his debut as a film director at the O.P. Dovzhenka film studio (A.Y. Voytetskyi’s workshop).
In 1999, he graduated from the Kyiv Theater Institute named after I. Karpenko-Kary.
