What Is the Story About?

Piyush finds himself overwhelmed by stress and anxiety when his company faces a chaotic takeover. He is trying to balance his demanding job and personal responsibilities. Everything becomes even harder as the situation goes out of control. Feeling lost, Piyush begins to question his purpose in life and sets out on a journey to discover who he truly is, beyond his career and daily routine.

Don’t worry, it does not get spiritual.

As he goes through these turbulent times, Piyush comes across challenges and moral dilemmas that force him to make tough decisions, not just for himself but for the people he cares about. Will he be able to handle the pressures and protect what matters most to him, or will the chaos pull him further away from his goals?

Performances?

Abhishek Chauhan once again impresses as Piyush, the relatable office worker trying to handle work stress and personal growth. His performance feels real, making it easy for the audience to connect with his ups and downs.

Nimit Kapoor, as Vikram, balances being a tough boss and a helpful guide. She adds depth to the story with his sharp and delivery. Zayn Marie Khan, in her first role as Dhwani, brings a fresh and lively energy. Her chemistry with Abhishek feels natural and adds warmth to the show. The supporting cast, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Ayushi Gupta, Ketaki Kulkarni, and Badri Chavan, keep the humor and relatable moments alive, making sure the series stays fun and engaging.

Chauhan stands out in showing how Piyush grows both personally and professionally. Zayn’s calm and composed portrayal as Dhwani perfectly balances the fast-paced chaos of the story. The rest of the cast, from Ketaki Kulkarni’s effortless acting to Shivankit Parihar’s great comedic timing, fits their roles perfectly.

The workplace scenes feel familiar and fun. Ayushi Gupta’s Sunaina is the strong and supportive work friend everyone needs, while Nimit Kapoor keeps the laughs coming as Vikram. Zayn’s character, Dhwani, adds a refreshing calmness to the high-pressure environment. Overall, being a TVF show, it delivers and it delivers strongly in terms of performance.

Analysis

The series and what it wants to say is already established. Of course, it is the fourth season and of course, only those people are going to watch it who have already watched and liked the first three seasons.

So, TVF certainly knows the audience that would turn in for the fourth season of Cubicles.

Now, what’s the greatest thing people love about TVF for?

Relatability.

No matter if you belong to which economic or professional strata, there will always be something from TVF that you would love.

So, Cubicles is no exception from the two things we talked about. The conclusion we can draw is that?

It is predictable. You know what is going to happen in the series. It gives you a sort of comfort that you are watching something familiar. On the other hand, there is practically nothing out of the blue. But, it is also very understandable because Cubicles is not a thriller and it doesn’t need to be that way.

The evolution of Piyush as a character is something remarkable. He has evolved his relationship with Kalpesh and it is definitely not in a positive manner. There are ugly moments and their friendship is going through exactly that.

He is experiencing a sort of love and he is more evolved as a person and professional. The screenplay is smooth and the side characters are just helping the show navigate smoothly.

The overall show looks authentic, honest, and smooth. It is not something extraordinary but it is also not going to disappoint you in any manner. TVF knows how to do their job and they are doing exactly that with Cubicles.

Music and Other Departments?

The casting department does a significant job and shines overall. Cinematography has been authentic as Rahul Vamadevan Jayamma’did a great job with it, Arabinda Neog’s background score enhances the narrative without overshadowing it, while Karthik Rao’s lone song aligns seamlessly with the show’s tone. Vikrant Shahi Vish and Mayur Mul also created a believable environment with their costume.

Highlights?

Relatable “corporate” theme

Good character development

Solid understanding of the corporate hierarchy

Drawbacks?

Underdelivers in terms of office conflicts

The writing lacks depth

Feels repetitive sometimes

Did I Enjoy It?

Yes.

Will You Recommend It?

Yes, if you are living around corporate life.
