Synopsis:
Moonbase 8 is an American television comedy series to be streamed on Voot Select from the 9th of November, 2020. The story follows the life of some simple, mediocre astronauts who have a dream to be on the moon. They have done everything on their part to be up there but never got selected for any program and hence still left with the hope that they can someday do it. With failed marriages, almost no social life and otherwise awkward, middle-aged men form a group and decide that they will “show” NASA they are worthy of being in a program and that they are ready for the moon. Learning and training themselves wholeheartedly in NASA’s Moon Base Simulator in a desert, they fall hard every time but rise up with each failure. Their main motive, “To Be on the Moon”. With falling, stumbling, rising, jumping men, this series will be nothing less than a roller coaster of laughter.
