Mrs Serial Killer is a whodunit thriller that is centred on a wife, Shona Mukherjee (Jacqueline Fernandez) whose husband (Manoj Bajpayee) is wrongly accused of a series of murders of young girls, and is put into jail. Shona will go to any extent to prove that her husband is innocent, even carrying out a copycat murder that mimics exactly the modus operandi of the actual serial-killer, which will establish beyond doubt that the killer is still on the loose and her husband is innocent. The only hurdle in her plan is the police officer in charge of the investigation into the murders (Mohit Raina). He is keenly intuitive and seems to have already seen through her plan, guessing that Shona is behind the tell-tale disappearance of another college-going girl. Will Shona be able to save her husband from the gallows? This is what forms the latter part of the movie.
