After nearly three decades superstar Rajnikanth chose to collaborate with Sundar C in “Arunachalam” and under the direction of Pa Ranjith he did “Kabali” which established Ranjith as a recognized director.
Vetrimaaran shared a very beautiful moment while the shooting of “Kabali”, that Rajnikanth called the filmmaker to make a “Ranjith Film” and not a typical Rajnikanth movie.
It is a very inspiring fact that the old legends like Rajnikanth, Mammooty are going out of the box to make something new with the new filmmakers.
It makes a huge impact in the industry, one is new filmmakers are having courage to portray their storyline and movies and secondly the big stars are coming out of their old character to do something new.
With the constantly evolving industry some names are stuck with it, those names are now being re-written with the help of those actors who made the name.
When the superstars from the Hindi industry are always up for Innovative storyline and plot, Vetrimaaran emphasised that the Tamil and Malayalam actors blindly trusted the new film directors and gave full control to their creative project.
This trend of let’s the new directors have full freedom on their projects, Ranjith added “Bramayugam” was another excellent take on an innovative storyline .
