Without any doubt we can say that the Tamil Industry is right now doing a deep dive in experimental projects, and they are producing quite some uncommon movies, which are really new to the industry.
With series like “Snakes and Ladders” they introduced dark humour with thrillers for the first time.
And now Kavin is playing a beggar’s role in “Bloody Beggar”, directed by Sivabalan Muthukumar, the glimpse of the trailer shows how he fakes his physical disabilities, and tricks people, but amidst all these he gets caught up in some serious problem.
This movie is going to serve as an action packed thriller, to entertain the audience.
Apart from Kavin the film also stars Redin Kingsly, Maruthi Prakashraj, Sunil Sukadha, T M Karthik, Padam Venu Kumar, Arshad, Priyadarshini Rajkumar, Miss Saleema, Akshaya Hariharan, Anarkali Nazar, Dhivya Vikram, Tanuja Madhurapantula, Rohit Denis, Vidyuth Ravi, and Mohammed Bilal in key roles.
But the question is will it be able to stand in front of the big two “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Singham Again” in the Diwali market?
Because it is a pan India release this movie has to compete with “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Singham Again”.
And with all fairness, this movie surely has a very unique storyline, but at the end of the day this too is an action thriller, and in front of “Singham Again”, “Bloody Beggar” kind of loses its charm.
Furthermore, just before its release they unveiled the trailer, which is not a good strategy, they aren’t even promoting the movie well, so that it can reach a certain amount of audience.
Now it’s time to see whether “Bloody Beggar” can be a strong competitor to the big two this diwali or not.
