Vettaiyan is a multi-starrer biggie that will be released on 10th October globally. It will star Rajinikanth in the leading role and with him Amitabh Bacchan and Fahadh Faasil will also be seen in the film. The film will be directed by T. J. Gnanavel and the music of the film will be given by Anirudh Ravichander. The film is a highly anticipated one considering two one of the greatest actors of the history of Indian cinema are appearing together. Already, the films of Rajini are a festival for his fans, with the other star powers added, the film will definitely be a pan-Indian film.
Earlier the film was clashing with Kanguva, which was another big multi-starrer and it could have acted as an obstruction for the film. But it has now been shifted to be released on November 14th to avoid the clash with Vettaiyan. Vettaiyan now feels no direct competition in the southern states. But to prove its dominance in the northern states as well, it will have to compete and overcome several movies.
Vicky Vidya Ka Who Wala Video will be releasing on 11th October and will be a highly anticipated film among the audience. The film stars Rajkummar Rao (who has recently given the highest grossing Hindi movie of all time) and Tripti Dimri (whose last few films have been tremendous). The film will expect a high opening in the box office. Considering Rajkummar’s success in the comedy genre, you can expect the film to go big as well.
Jigra will be releasing on the same day as well. It will be starring Alia Bhatt in the lead role and looking at the trailer and its reception, one can say people are waiting eagerly for it. The film is also expected to have a good run and pose a threat to Vettaiyan.
Vettaiyan, hence will receive quite a setback in the Northern states. Though the film and its cast are something that the whole country will look forward to, the two movies discussed above too have a big potential. They certainly won’t be able to subvert the film’s success, but they will definitely be able to stall it. If Vettaiyan wants to go big in the North, it will have to crumble these two competitions for it.
