Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer highly awaited Tamil film ‘Kanguva’ has decided to shift its release date to 14th November from 10th October and it’s a smart move from the makers.
This way ‘Kanguva’ will not only avoid clash with another Tamil biggie ‘Vettaiyan’ starring Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil and Rana Daggubati among others, but also with hotly anticipated Hindi films ‘Jigra’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’.
The previous October release would have impacted ‘Kanguva’s’ release not only in the south but also in the north, where apart from ‘Jigra’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, even ‘Vettaiyan’ will attract viewers given the popular star cast and their fans across the nation.
The new 14th November release will let ‘Kanguva’ hava a rather clash free release throughout India, and that will help the big budget tentpole fantasy drama unlock its full potential at the box office.
Moreover, post ‘Animal’, Bobby Deol, who stars in a prominent role in ‘Kanguva’, has found a renewed stardom and people are loving this second inning of his.
