Kanguva is one of the biggest Indian films on the way. The movie starring Suriya, and Bobby Deol in the lead roles was initially supposed to be released on the occasion of Dussehra but got delayed. The reasons could be last-minute post-productions or even to avert the clash with Vettaiyan which was highly anticipated among the Tamil fans.
Naturally, the makers can’t keep the fans in darkness and have to keep in constant touch with them. So what do they do?
They release songs.
Well, that’s what the makers are trying to do.
The second single of Kanguva was to be released soon but the Central Board of Film Certification has asked the movie makers to do some chops in order to get clearance.
The reason?
Obscenity. You see, India has become a lot more liberal in terms of showing skin in the recent few years. We have evolved through a time when movie makers couldn’t even show women drinking on the big screen. So, we must appreciate evolution.
But, there are still several restraints. The second single of Kanguva was cut due to an apparent overexposed upper body of Disha Patani. Patani is known for her bold photoshoots but in order to get certain certificates from CBFC, the game is entirely different.
