The official teaser for Vettaiyan is here now and fans are going crazy all over social media. There is no doubt that this is one of the most anticipated films of the year and keeping the recent track record of Rajinikanth in mind, we can say that it is going to be a blast. And this time, there are some epic collaborations happening too.
Rajinikanth is collaborating with Amitabh Bachchan for a film after many decades. And Fahadh Faasil is also making his Tamil debut with the film. Manju Warrier, Darshana Vijayan, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, the cast list just doesn’t end. And the movie comes from TJ Gnanavel, the director who came up with the award winning ‘Jai Bhim’.
The teaser is massy and Anirudh’s music contributes to its upbeat vibe, but it seems the composer has run out of compositions and is playing with the same tunes. We expected more from TJ Gnanavel, but it seems it will be the same ‘Superstar’ Rajinikanth film and go the way that ‘Jailer’ had gone. Fahadh Faasil and Manju Warrier do not have much screen-time and the prevue seems to be a Rajini character introduction from a fanboy.
Ritika Singh and Amitabh Bachchan play police officers in the movie and Rajinikanth is some legend of the department who has to come back to work to accomplish some impossible feat. It is the same old story and we will have to watch the movie to see what they do differently to make it more interesting.
