Announced back in 2021, Vijay Sethupati led ’Gandhi Talks’ has been in the making for long now and the film has finally wrapped filming. A Zee Studios pan-India, multi-lingual movie, ‘Gandhi Talks’ is a silent feature film helmed by filmmaker Kishor Pandurang ‘Balekar’.
In a new behind the scenes video launched today on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, audience can see the cast and crew dedicatedly involved in the film’s making. Towards the end we see musical maestro AR Rahman working his magic in a grand setup. Also, the music that plays towards the end gives you a mystical Harry Potter kind of vibe.
Touted as a dark satirical comedy, the film’s storyline is still under wraps but is reportedly based on Gandhian principles. ‘Gandhi Talks’ marks the celebration of 108 years of Indian cinema and is dedicated to late Shri Dada Saheb Phalke, the pioneer of Indian cinema.
Starring Sethupati, Aditi Rao Hyadri, Arvind Swamy, and Siddharth Jaadav in prominent roles, ‘Gandhi Talks’ is being made in six languages – Hindi, Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. Balekar serves as the writer and director for ‘Gandhi Talks’ that is produced by Movie Mill Entertainment.
