Indian movie fans are frustrated. Pathaan was promised an extended cut. All we got was a few extra seconds.
Then makers promised it for Animal. There was nothing over there. A similar thing happened with Jawan.
And in Greatest Of All Time, it was a scam of all time.
The director was so sure about his promise of an extended OTT cut, but it never really arrived.
He gave interviews, explanations and so many things and they were good for nothing.
Indian fans were disappointed again and again by both Bollywood and Kollywood.
Now, another promise has emerged. It is straight up from Vetrimaaran’s Viduthalai Part 2. The movie starring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role along with Soori, Manju Warrier and others is a strong narrative.
The second part of the movie doesn’t disappoint and the film is receiving the praises it deserves.
So, in an interview, Vetrimaaran has revealed how the OTT version of Viduthalai Part 2 would be an extended version and not just any extended version.
It will be a solid 1 hour extended version which is a lot.
It is a big claim, especially after so many failures in promises by so many different directors.
Well, all we can do is wait. Let’s see if we really get an extra one hour on the OTT.
