Dark humor is on the rise with the new age of influencers and storylines and this can be proven once again with a new and upcoming web series ‘Snakes and Ladders’. Taking place in the mid-2000s, this peculiar yet captivating dark comedy thriller genuinely honors friendship in all its manifestations.
The narrative centers on the exploits of four school friends named Gilly, Irai, Sandy, and Bala who unintentionally become involved in a puzzle. Their adventure finally takes them on an unexpected route of self-discovery as they negotiate a variety of difficult situations and personal problems, leaving inevitable tracks and making dubious decisions along the way.
Naveen Chandra, Nandha, Na Muthukumar, Manoj Bharathiraja, Sreejith Ravi, Surya Ragaveshwar, Tarun, Surya Kumar, and Sasha Bharen are among the cast members of the show. Ashok Veerappan, Kamla Alchemis, and Bharath Muralidharan are the series’ directors.
Karthik Subbaraj produces the Tamil-language series under the production company A Stone Bench Production. Dhivakar Kamal and Kamala Alchemis are the creators of the upcoming show. The show now has a streaming date, as well as a great streaming platform in Amazon Prime Video. Prime Video announced recently that they will be streaming Karthik Subbaraj’s series from October 18th exclusively on their platform.
The series will be available to stream in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi on Prime Video. While dark humor is on the rise, this series would surely be loved by the youth audience and might achieve good reviews upon its release on 18th October.
