Among all of the comedy horror comedies in the Tamil industry, “Demonte Colony 2” shines out loud being a completely ferocious horror sequel.
Directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, starring Arulnithi in his role as the lead, alongside Priya Bhavani Shankar, Archana Ravichandran, Tsering Dorjee, Arun Pandian, Meenakshi Govindarajan and Sarjano Khalid.
This movie had the perfect essence of what a horror movie should have, a plus point of this movie is the director knew that the first part was a hit and picked the sequel from right where he left it.
He could have done something else or some changes as well, but he kept the right pace at the right time, which gave the audience a sense of continuity and a spine chilling thrilling experience which the audience could feel crawling under their skin.
The story revolves around a few friends and a golden chain which captured a ghost, and how one by one the ghost is killing all of them.
It sounds like a typical horror movie, with unnecessary gore and comic relief but this movie is all the way around, starting from the opening scene till the last scene the movie has the ability to make the audience sit tight on their chairs.
Ajay aims to amplify horror with a series of escalating set pieces, mirror which creates more terror, bat included chaos, and even descent into a netherworld realm.
All in all this movie was a total package of horror in a terrifying sense, because IMDb rated it 7.7 out of 10.
