Karthik Subbaraj’s “Snakes and Ladders” is an upcoming Tamil series. Filled with dark humour and thriller aspects this series has the potential to be an influential take on the Tamil Industry.
Although, Tamil Industry is right now experimenting a lot with its upcoming movies, the premise of this series intrigued the audience.
So, this series will follow a few kids who are trying to cover up an accident, and eventually they find themselves in danger.
Not only this every single character in this series has some dark within themselves, and they have separate identities.
So, these kinda ideas we have seen in other series in Bollywood like “Ludo” , but this series can pave the path for pop culture storytelling in the Tamil industry.
Although there isn’t a lot out yet about this series but if we focus on the very name of the series “Snakes and Ladders”, the first thing that comes to one’s mind is its a children’s game.
But, if we co relate it with the premise of the story then we can assume that every kid is a pawn in the series and one wrong move can pull them back down.
The cast of this series includes, Muthukumar, Srinda, Sreejith Ravi, Samrith, Surya Ragaveshwar, Suryakumar, Tarun, and Sasha Bharen in pivotal roles.
“Snakes And Ladders” will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from 18th of October.
