Not necessarily. The movie has been facing consistent delays and there is a whole legal reason behind it. You see, the rumours stated that Thangalaan would be released on September 20. It did not.

The reason is the non-payment of a loan by the producer to Reliance Entertainment. This is causing the producer to continuously delay the OTT release of the film and may very well harm Kanguva but that would be catastrophic.
