KA, a new film in the Telugu language, is about to be released on October 31st pan-India. The film is a thriller which has been directed and written by Sujith and Sandeep. The film features a talented cast of Kiran Abbavaram, Nayan Sarika, Tanvi Ram, Achyuth Kumar and Redin Kingsley.
While the film expects a great response from the audience owing to its genre and plot, things won’t be that simple during Diwali. The film will face severe competition from several films and will have to surpass them in order to be successful. There are several Telugu films that have been released or are releasing in the meantime which will make the film face a direct clash with several films. Apart from that there are other releases as well.
Films like Amaran and Bagheera are looking for a nation-wide response and both the films have been dubbed in Telugu to gain a wider audience. The films already have a good hype around them which will make it more likely for them to succeed in the market (even in the Telugu market). In that case KA will have to surpass their popularity to be successful.
Also, the highly anticipated Bollywood releases in this Diwali eye for national domination in the theatres. The films- Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 are seeing huge popularity among audiences and are sure to affect the local films of industries as well. This will be yet another burden over KA in order to be a successful venture.
So, KA seems to be a good watch with its unique storyline and good performances. But the chances of its success will be really bleak considering the immense popularity of other titles and the huge competition from different films in the time of Diwali.
