Action Thriller Sabari was released in theatres on 3rd May 2024 and was highly rated by several critics and reviewers. What made it thrilling was the performances from Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Ganesh Venkatraman, and Shashank.
Mahendra Nath Kondla is the producer, and Anilkatz, making his directing debut, wrote and directed the film. The plot of the film revolved around a single mother who needs to confront her previous traumas in order to protect her child from harm in the future.
Despite having a predictable ploy, what made the film a standout was the performances and cinematography. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has played a number of roles in Telugu, and she has made a lasting impression with Sabari once more.
Varalaxmi has an outstanding performance as a mother who fears for her daughter’s safety, and she is in her element the entire movie.
Though the plot might have had more depth and could have been executed in a better way, its OTT release might give viewers a good chance to review the film even better. It releases on SunNXT from October 11th in Telugu and dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
It remains to be seen if there will be any better reviews for the film after its digital release on October 11th only on SunNXT. Thought the OTT platform hasn’t done any promotional campaigns for the film, this will surely impact the film’s performance on the platform.
