As Indian Box Office revs up for a huge clash between numerous films, the one that eyes most spectators is the much awaited clash between Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra and already running Devara.
What makes this clash more interesting is that Jigra is being released nationwide in Hindi and Telugu capturing a bigger market. The only problem between it is that the Telugu Film industry is reigned by two heavyweights namely Devara and Swag.
The overall collections for Devara is sky rocketing and is expected to hit huge numbers in upcoming weeks. On the other hand, Swag is also drawing considerable numbers since its release and is going strong in the Telugu market.
As Alia Bhatt tries to conquer the Telugu film industry with Jigra, it would be a tough task to attract audience towards the film given how well Devara and Swag are being run in the cinemas.
Jigra narrates the tale of Satya, portrayed by Alia Bhatt, who steps in to protect her younger brother Vedang Raina from an international prison. The movie is co-produced by Bhatt and sister Shaheen Bhatt’s Eternal Sunshine Productions and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
It remains to be seen if there is any decrease in ticket sales for Devara and Swag as Jigra prepares for a massive showdown at October 11th in cinemas.
