Jr. NTR starrer Devara Part 1 is currently dominating the industry in terms of the hype created, tickets sold and box office dominance even before its release. The film is supposed to be released tomorrow and the pre-bookings of tickets for the film shows the amount of interest the audience has shown for it. The film aims to become a global hit with the cast from both Northern and Southern regions to have a pan-Indian appeal. Apart from Jr. NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Jahnvi Kapoor will be seen in the prominent roles.
The film is a story of rivalry set in the time span of 400 years. It is filled with action, visually stunning settings and graphically impressive shots. The film stars Jr. NTR in the lead role with Jahnvi playing the role of his love interest and Saif Ali Khan as the main antagonist of the film.
The film has already sold tickets worth ₹50 crores worldwide. Now with the opening of the advanced ticket window for the Hindi dub version of the film, it is expected to go even higher. The film expects a huge opening day collection of more than 100 crores making it one of the biggest films of the year.
The film as of now has crossed 900k advanced ticket sales done via the platform Book My Show alone. We can imagine the magnanimity from the number. The sales for Hindi shows started pretty late, but are picking up fast. By tomorrow the number will see an even further rise. The film is expected to be one of the biggest films of the year fulfilling the dearth of big movies post Stree 2 release.
With over 40 crores plus collection through advanced tickets in India, the film (with one more day to go for the advanced bookings) now eyes on this year’s record by Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD to become the highest grossing film prior its release.
