Fighter Shiva, produced under the banners of Koundinya Productions and Aruna Giri Arts by Unnam Ramesh and Narsimha Goud, is directed by Prabhas Nimmala. The film features Manikant and Aira Bansal as the lead pair, with noted actors Sunil and Vikas Vasishta playing key roles. The film’s teaser was officially launched on Saturday (August 16). Star producer Ashwini Dutt did the honours of launching the teaser.
Packed with impactful lines such as “I’ll show you what it’s like if Yama himself became a policeman” and “I’m like Pawan Kalyan… I’ll fight until I win”, the teaser has been cut brilliantly, promising a full-on mass commercial action entertainer.
While speaking at the event, hero Manikant said : “My father worked tirelessly to make me a hero with Fighter Shiva. Every rupee invested will be brought back with respect. This journey wasn’t easy, and at one point, we were stuck—until Ramesh garu came to our rescue. Director Prabhas loves commercial films, and every dialogue in this one is hard-hitting. Vishva garu worked tirelessly for the film, Surender’s every frame looks stunning, and Gautam’s music will connect with everyone. Fighter Shiva will surely impress all sections of the audience.”
Director Prabhas Nimmala said : “It’s only because of Ashwini Dutt garu and Sampath Nandi garu that Fighter Shiva has reached this stage. Sampath Nandi garu unveiled our poster, and Ashwini Dutt garu released the teaser—I thank them both. Today, I may be making a small film, but tomorrow, I will be a big director, and when newcomers approach me then, I will definitely stand by them.
We have shaped Fighter Shiva as a film with a strong social message—against the menace of drugs. Manikant plays the title role, while Sunil garu and Vikas Vasishta have given strong performances. On a personal note, my mother passed away three months ago due to cancer. Basavatarakam Cancer Hospital gave her three extra months of life, and for that service, I sincerely thank Nandamuri Balakrishna garu. I request all actors to support us during promotions as well. Surender Reddy’s support was invaluable, Gautam’s music has come out brilliantly, and Vishwanath’s editing has elevated the film.
