‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is having its theatrical release a day before its previously timed date now. It was announced that the movie will come out on the 5th of December now.
But how will the movie retain the intrigue and craze high for the movie? Will the sequel factor work for it like it did for Baahubali? The movie will now establish the arc of Fahadh Faasil’s character and the confrontation will be there. Fans are excited to have Fahadh Faasil once more in an intense Telugu role with Allu Arjun against him.
The much awaited ‘Chhava’ is coming out on the 6th of December too. It might be a reason behind the preponement of Pushpa 2. ‘Baby John’ and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ too are slated for a December release. It might be a bit tough for the film to sustain its business in the North. But there is a growing fanbase of Allu Arjun and Fahadh Faasil in the Hindi speaking states as well and that might help the movie.
If the story turns out to be more engaging than the first one, there is no doubt that it will be a bigger hit and the other movies in theaters will not be able to compete with it. It depends on the word of mouth. But if the movie had been preponed a few more days or postponed to next year, it could have avoided a clash with a movie like Chhava.
