Vijay Deverakonda, who is rumoured to be Rashmika Mandanna’s real life boyfriend has unveiled the teaser for her upcoming film ‘The Girlfriend’. Helmed by Rahul Ravindran, ‘The Girlfriend’ is set to release soon in theatres.
‘The Girlfriend’ teaser begins with a poetic description of Rashmika’s beauty who plays the role of a simple, decent girl studying in a college. She has a boyfriend, played by Dheekshith Shetty, and her relationship with him doesn’t seem to be an easy one. While there are a few happy moments, things seems to be complex and not everything is right.
Rashmika, who is riding high on the success of her latest release ‘Pushpa 2’, displays a range of emotions in ‘The Girlfriend’ teaser and all the spotlight is just on her throughout. Known for his roles in films like ‘Dasara’ and ‘Blink’, Dheekshith Shetty is seen in glimpses in the teaser with almost no focus on him. The background music changes according to Rashmika’s emotions creating a clearer sense of it.
Written and directed by Rahul Ravindran, ‘The Girlfriend’ stars Rashmika Mandanna, Dheekshith Shetty, Rao Ramesh, and Rohini among others. Hesham Abdul Wahab has composed music for the film. Krishnan Vasant serves as the cinematographer and editing is done by Chota K Prasad.
