Dulquer Salmaan returns to the big screens with his newest project titled Lucky Baskhar. The Pan-Indian Telugu film is set to portray old school Mumbai city set in the 1980s. Dulquer is set to take the role of a bank cashier with his witty personality and cunning looks.
While the film is prepared for a pan-Indian release, i.e., the film is being marketed and advertised for a release all over the country in different languages. Following King of Kotha’s unfavorable reaction and initial backlash, this movie marks Dulquer’s comeback.
Now the movie is a Pan Indian movie, but be careful as Dulquer might end the conversation with you after listening to that word. He pointed out how he hates that word and how fans will always have something to hate despite the film being dubbed in numerous languages.
In a recent interview, Dulquer stated how working in one language can hurt other language speakers and there will always be hate no matter which way he goes. He further stated how he couldn’t live in his former glory of Sita Ramam.
Speaking about Pan-Indian projects, Salmaan talked about how Kantara reached a wider audience because of having Pan-Indian actors in the film and how it impacted in a positive way for the Indian cinema.
He expects his upcoming films to be the same and wants them to be celebrated just like Sita Ramam. As Dulquer makes his big screen comeback after King of Kotha, it remains to be seen how will his Diwali be as Lucky Baskhar will be hitting the theatres on 31st October 2024, and yes it will be a Pan Indian release.
