Chiranjeevi has performed 24,000 dance moves in 537 songs across his 156 films in a span of 45 years.
The exciting news is that Chiranjeevi has just received a Guinness World Record as a representative of Indian cinema.
The certificate issued by the Guinness World Records states, “The most prolific film star in the Indian Film Industry – actor/dancer Konidela Chiranjeevi aka Mega Star achieved on 20 September 2024.”
Chiranjeevi, upon receiving this award, felt very humbled and said he never expected to receive such an amazing honor in his career.
Furthermore, he received the Padma Vibhushan, the second highest civilian honor awarded for exceptional and distinguished service, along with Indian cinema icon Vyjayanthimala, in May this year.
Prominent Bollywood star Aamir Khan expressed his gratitude and congratulated him, as did Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy via his X account.
All in all, Chiranjeevi’s achievement is a significant milestone for the film industry, it shows that his hard work and perseverance have truly paid off.
