Chai Wala will emotionally connect with everyone- Producer Venkat R. Paapudippu at the teaser launch

Young and promising actor Shiva Kandukuri is playing the lead role in Chai Wala, produced on a grand scale by Radha Vijayalakshmi and Venkat R. Paapudippu under the Harshika Productions banner. The film is written and directed by Pramod Harsha. The first-look poster already impressed audiences, and the teaser was unveiled on August 20th.

The teaser opens powerfully with Rajeev Kanakala’s line: “My tea costs ₹15… even if I take one rupee extra, my value drops.” Another striking dialogue by Shiva “If passing exams was as simple as writing Kalki’s story on every page, we’d have all passed long back”sets the tone. Glimpses of father–son bonding, romance, and family drama suggest that Chai Wala will strike a chord with both youth and families alike.

Producer Raj Kandukuri said “The title Chai Wala was chosen by producer Venkat garu. It’s a title that instantly connects with people. Films that audiences take home emotionally, not just leave in theatres, are the ones that succeed. Chai Wala will do exactly that. Rajeev Kanakala is a brilliant actor. When Pramod narrated the story years ago, he was clear that Rajeev garu should play the father’s role. The writing by Imran is excellent, Teju Ashwini has a bright future in Telugu cinema, and Kranti’s visuals are outstanding. Pramod Harsha is a director to watch out for, and Shiva will earn a lot of appreciation with this film. I truly believe Chai Wala will touch everyone’s hearts.”

Hero Shiva Kandukuri said “This film has been a beautiful journey. Pramod became more than a director, he’s now a close friend. Our producer trusted the story even more than we did. I can guarantee that after watching Chai Wala, you’ll want to talk to your father, it leaves you with that kind of emotion. Working with Rajeev Kanakala garu was a blessing; I’ve learned so much from him. Teju Ashwini is multi-talented, and I enjoyed sharing the screen with her. This film has been made with passion, and I’m confident it will connect deeply with audiences.”

Director Pramod Harsha said “When I wrote Chai Wala, I wanted a face that carried both sensitivity and charm that’s why I narrated it to Shiva. The story is inspired by everyday incidents from people’s lives. It’s a film everyone will relate to.”

Producer Venkat R. Paapudippu said “People say you truly understand effort only after building a house or arranging a marriage, but making a film is even tougher. Some scenes moved me to tears. Chai Wala is a sensible love story that will touch every heart.”

Actress Teju Ashwini said “This is my first Telugu film, and I’m grateful it’s Chai Wala. Sharing screen space with a senior actor like Rajeev Kanakala garu was a wonderful experience. Shiva is an amazing co-actor, and Kranti garu made us all look beautiful on screen. I believe this film will win everyone’s hearts.”

Actor Rajeev Kanakala said “Producer Venkat garu made this film without a single compromise. Pramod is a director with clarity and conviction. When he narrated Chai Wala to me, I was moved instantly. The film is entertaining yet emotional. Shiva is a hungry actor, he gives his everything in every scene. He has a long way to go, and I wish him all the success.”

Actor Raj Kumar Kasireddy said “I’ve known Pramod for years, and his stories always have universal appeal. Chai Wala is no different, it’s emotional, entertaining, and heartfelt. Acting alongside Shiva was a joy, and Rajeev Kanakala garu’s performance will touch everyone deeply. I’m sure this film will be loved by all.”
