Actor Vijay Deverakonda has achieved yet another prestigious honor. He carries the essence of modern India from Hyderabad to New York. His presence at the Empire State Building marks a milestone in India’s cultural journey worldwide.
As the Grand Marshal at the 43rd edition of the World’s Largest India Day Parade, organized by the Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) in New York, USA, Vijay made his presence felt at Madison Avenue. He joined the parade with his family making it more special for Telugu dispora.
It is estimated that nearly 600,000 people attended the event, which is renowned as the largest India Day Parade in the world. The celebrations began with tributes to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Ahmedabad plane crash.
This is really an honour to Vijay Deverakonda, who represents the common man. As a Grand Marshal, he celebrated India’s Independence Day with the Indian and Telugu communities in the U.S. This iconic parade has been organized annually since 1981 and continues to be a symbol of Indian pride and unity on a global stage.
