Leading production house Sithara Entertainment has today announced their next theatrical venture ‘Funky’ starring Vishwak Sen in the lead. The film will be helmed by ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame Anudeep KV.
‘Funky’ is touted to be a “laugh out loud family entertainer” that will be full of fun, laughter and cater to audience of all age groups. The pooja ceremony for the film was held today and the shooting for the same will commence after Sankranthi next year.
Vishwak Sen has established himself as a versatile actor with his films ranging from crime thriller, legal dramas, action dramas, romantic saga to comedy and more. He has been known for his massy roles and hence also known as Mass Ka Das.
As for Anudeep KV, he has directed films like ‘Pittagoda’ and ‘Prince’ but he rose to fame with comedy drama ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ that received positive reviews from critics and also went on to become to a box office blockbuster.
The technical crew behind ’Funky’ has some credible names including national award winning editor Naveen Nooli, music composer Bheems Ceciroleo known for his work in Tillu Square and cinematographer Suresh Sarangam.
Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya serve as producers for ‘Funky’. The production behind the film are Sithara Entertainment, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas.
