Today will bring us something to talk about. ‘Vishwambhara,’ yes, with Chiranjeevi, Trisha, and Kunal Kapoor, long-awaited fantasy flick will announce the big breaking news at 6:03 pm on 11th October 2024. Leave those random updates aside; this is what we have been waiting for. Hence, mark your clocks, folks. The countdown begins.
So what makes ‘Vishwambhara’ worth watching? The film directed by Mallidi Vassishta and being produced under the joint effort between UV Creations, will be an adventure-fantasy film with some solid production. Yeah, folks, this is quite an old project. Let me tell you that it’s being made with massive confidence with a production cost of ₹100 crores from a fine production house with a roster including V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy.
Between megastar Chiranjeevi, and Trisha is making her nearly eight-year wait for a return to Telugu cinema. Along with the others, are Kunal Kapoor, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Ashika Ranganath in leading roles. Quite an ensemble, don’t you think?
Now comes an interesting aspect—13 sets. Yes, production is as it is: from Annapurna Studios to the mud-stuffed action-filled sequences shot at Ramoji Film City, this film will be a visual spectacle. About 70% of the entire film will, as they say, lean heavily toward VFX to espouse its spiritualities.
Production began in earnest on August 22, 2023, right on Chiranjeevi’s birthday. The muhurtam pooja stepped in October. Production, too, has had quite a few rides, starting in January 2024, with Chiranjeevi joining a little later in February.
