After failing to perform well at the box office, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi is now headed towards its OTT premiere. The Ravi Teja starrer is set to arrive on ZEE5 on March 13.
The film, which also stars Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi, will be available in four languages: Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Directed by Kishore Tirumala (known for hits like Nenu Sailaja and Chitralahari), the story centres on a man whose ordinary work trip gradually turns into a complex personal journey. What initially begins as a straightforward attempt to resolve a business problem soon develops into a complicated network of relationships and unforeseen outcomes.
Despite the high expectations surrounding a Sankranthi release, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi struggled to find its footing at the box office, continuing a difficult trend for Ravi Teja. Much like his recent outings, such as Mr Bachchan, Eagle, and Tiger Nageswara Rao, the film faced criticism for a narrative that felt stretched, failing to fully capitalise on the “Mass Maharaja” energy that fans crave.
Backed by a talented technical crew, the film features a soundtrack by the talented Bheems Ciceroleo and visuals captured by cinematographer Prasad Murella.
The editing is handled by National Award winner Sreekar Prasad, with A.S. Prakash overseeing the art direction. The movie blends Kishore Tirumala’s realistic storytelling with vibrant performances and relatable themes. However, the lack of a tight screenplay and impactful high points led to a lukewarm reception.
Bhartha Mahasayulaku Vignyapthi, despite failing at the box office, gets a second chance on ZEE5 via its digital premiere. Stay tuned for more updates.
