Released on January 12, 2025, Daaku Maharaaj is a Telugu action film that has quickly captured the attention of audiences. Directed by Bobby Kolli, the movie stars Nandamuri Balakrishna as Sitaram, a former engineer who becomes a feared dacoit leader, fighting against corruption and crime in his village.
The plot revolves around Sitaram’s transformation into “Daaku Maharaaj,” a man who, despite his outlaw status, is deeply protective of his family and community. As expected, it is a typical NBK film with a lot of hero worship and nothing else. The problem with big stars is, they seize to be actors. You would have to see a wikipedia page to remember the last time they did something different.
The film received negative reviews as expected from a typical NBK film.
But that is how his fans operate. They love such films and that is why the box office collection of the film is truly good.
Anyway, now is the time for the film to hit OTT. So when is it happening?
There is no official release date yet. It will be streaming on Netflix India and most probably on the 14th of February. It can move a few days before too.
