Ram Charan came with a bang this Sankranti as his Shankar-directed film Game Changer got released. However, there was no bang after the release as the film was treated with terrible reviews and fate. Immediately after the release, a pirated copy of the movie was leaked online and everyone who wanted to watch the digital copy of the film has enjoyed it already.
So, will there be any interest in the OTT release of the film?
Doesn’t look like that.
Because the film does not give any particular reason to feel excited about it, there have been reports of several troubles in the film’s OTT deal.
Earlier, the film seemed lucrative. Of course, it is a Shankar film with Ram Charan in the lead. So, the film secured an OTT deal with Prime Video with a promise of a huge transaction.
Now that everything has gone South for the film, Prime Video is naturally not in the mood to pay the initial sum. In fact, the film might not even get a fraction of the amount.
This is causing some trouble and even people don’t seem to be anywhere excited about the movie. So, let’s see if Game Changer gets released at all. The post-Rajamouli curse seems to be working for Ram Charan too.
