Considering the volatility of the entertainment industry at any given point in time, it only really just takes one good title to keep fans hooked and wanting for more. Indian film director and screenwriter who primarily works in Telugu cinema, Prasanth Verma, has yet again proved this fact.
Having gained widespread recognition for his critically acclaimed action comedy feature ‘Hanu-Man’, Verma is back with another potential banger. This time around, he has clubbed forces with RKD Studios to helm ‘Mahakali’! In a recently released concept video, the titular new female superhero from his PVCU Universe was introduced.
Unsurprisingly, this announcement was quick to make fans go in a frenzy:
On the other hand, however, the video bears testament to the fact that the upcoming film will be rooted deeply in Hindu mythology and will follow a calm yet powerful character, whose strength and bravery will seemingly resemble those of a lion. This has left audiences divided as well.
While some were quick to mention that it might not be the smartest move to capitalize off of the concept solely because of the success of the first film, many also expressed their contentment with the upcoming sequel!
