JioHotstar has released the trailer of Mrs Deshpande. The series led by Madhuri Dixit in the lead role is scheduled for a release on December 19th. The series follows Mrs Deshpande, played by Madhuri Dixit, who was once an infamous serial killer years ago. She would strangle her victims with a nylon rope and place them in front of a mirror. This used to be the usual pattern of her killings.
Now, while she is still in jail, there is another killer who is doing exactly the same. This killer follows every ritual that Mrs Despande once used to follow, and that is raising questions. Who is this new killer who wants to impress Mrs Deshpande?
The trailer may look intriguing at face value, but there are many problems with it. The series borrows a lot from a variety of shows/films. One prominent example could be “The Silence of the Lambs”, where the officer goes to Lecter for guidance. This series is going to earn a lot of views, and there are two reasons for that. One, it is on JioHotstar; two, it is led by a star as prominent as Dixit.
