Saif Ali Khan has done it again in the digital space. His latest crime thriller, Kartavya, has taken Netflix by storm since its premiere on 15 May 2026. The gritty drama has quickly climbed to the #1 spot on Netflix India and is making major waves internationally, landing at #8 on the global charts.
The film is helmed by Pulkit (known for Bhakshak) and produced by Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
The movie follows Pawan Malik (played by Saif Ali Khan), an honest police officer stationed in a small, tense heartland town. The plot kicks into gear with the disappearance of a teenager and the uncovering of a dark web of local corruption.
