The production companies behind ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home‘ dropped the second trailer, two days ago… And that is all Twitter and pretty much every other social media page can talk about. Watching, rewatching, reacting and finding out theories about the film has been the main staple for every MCU and Spider-Man fan out there. Still, out of all the chaos, mayhem and craziness happening, there have been many old fan theories that have been confirmed, while some new ones have popped up because of this promotional video. So without wasting any more time, here are 4 things that everyone is talking about regarding the ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ trailer:
The Multiverse
Probably the least talked about portion of this film, the ending of the teaser shows the fabric of the MCU multiverse getting ripped apart. The purple-pink multiverse rips remind us of the final episode of the web series, ‘Loki’ – just as the multiverse gets recreated.
Sinister Six
The confirmation we have all been waiting for – the sinister six. While Green Goblin alone is one of Spider-Man’s biggest villains; the Sinister Six is arguably the biggest group of foes that Spider-Man has ever faced on his own. Green Goblin, The Hobgoblin, The Sandman, Doc Oc, The Lizard and Electro will all take on Spider-Man and Dr. Strange in this upcoming Spider-Man film.
Spider-Man Vs. Dr. Strange
Another point which haven’t been noted by many, this MCU feature will pit one Avenger against the other; however briefly. Both Peter Parker and Stephen Strange have different philosophies when it comes to taking on villains and those philosophies butt heads in this movie. We briefly see it in this trailer as well.
A Missing Hero
As many may of you have seen the various tweets and video edits by now, there is a hero who has been edited out of a scene within the trailer. The Sandman, the Lizard and Electro get ready to take on the MCU Spider-Man when the Lizard hits an invisible force and gets knocked back. While we do not know for sure if it is either the Tobey Maguire or the Andrew Garfield Spider-Man that has been edited out – one thing we do know is that a hero is missing.
Spider-Man: No Way Home will premiere in theatres on December 17th 2021.
