Anandabhadram
This Disney+ Hotstar streaming fantasy horror drama follows a young man who returns to his mother’s ancestral home to perform the last rites with her ashes. However, a black magician stops him from entering the temple he must go to, to light a lamp as part of the ritual.
Thanneer Mathan Dinangal
This funny, coming-of-age film follows a young high schooler, Jaison, who has started to develop a crush on his classmate. Unfortunately for him, she doesn’t reciprocate his feelings. What is even worse, she has a crush on their newest teacher – a teacher who is targeting Jaison as the butt of his jokes. Check out the film on the jiocinema app.
My Dear Kuttichathan
While this movie may be a surprise to some, this 1984 movie still holds well to this day. This fantasy film was the first Indian film to be filmed in 3-D. We follow a young demon boy, Kuttichathan, who was created into existence by a black magician. The magician uses Kuttichathan for his evil schemes. One day, the young demon meets three kids and goes on to befriend them. As the film progresses, he is forced to choose between his creator and his new friends. Nandanam
Balamani is a housemaid who regularly prays to Lord Krishna. One day, she meets her mistress’s grandson, Manu and befriends him. As time passes, they fall for each other and want to get married. When the rest of the family finds out and raises their objection, Balamani seeks her lord’s help to make her forget him. Learn what happens in the end on Manorama Max.
Njan Prakashan
This Netflix running movie follows Prakashan, a man who dreams of living a lavish and easy life abroad by marrying a woman who is working outside the country. He creates multiple elaborate schemes to make his dream come true. But it looks like fate has other plans for him.
Ayyappanum Koshiyum
When a retired army havildar, Koshy, settles in a village – he and a police officer working there, Ayyappan, an upright man, have a confrontation that turns violent. This upturns the village and the clashing of egos make up for the rest of this Amazon Prime Video streaming feature film.
