2020 is getting over and this year will go down in history and will always be remembered for being one of the worst ones in history. As COVID-19 took over the world, mankind got stuck in their homes and all kinds of accommodations they were living in. There was no scope of travel, no form of touch happening so people relied on only one stuff and that is the internet. Let’s thank the Gods above for giving the world such geniuses that literally bought the world at the tip of our fingers. If the internet wouldn’t have been here at this day and age, it’s almost hard to imagine how the world would be living.
As the internet comes into play, along with it comes the OTT platforms. The OTT platforms this year have pulled out a lot of content and people have thoroughly enjoyed binge watching the content. The binge watching factor has been made so easy and affordable for everyone that people almost neglect the cost as it is made effortless and easy in today’s era. Binge watching OTT always comes with a price tag and this year companies have come together to make it even easier for this great chunk of the human population to indulge in these activities.
Earlier people had to think at least once about the costs of the OTT plans that come with it but thanks to the various plans that these OTT giants have come up with, it has been a smooth ride. Not only them but also the telecom industries have joined hands in it to help us experience it better. The various plans by leading telecom industry Jio and Bharti Airtel, brings together their Tariff plans and also additional benefit of getting a subscription with it. The companies are pulling in people as much as they can with better and cheaper offers.
As we step into 2021 and as the world is opening up more now, it will be interesting to see how people help to keep this trend going and how far this train of OTTs offer will go on. Theatres are opening up but still people would need something to relax and this is when the OTT subscriptions will come to work, also the coming year is even fuller with more interesting and blockbuster OTT releases. So yes, we will definitely need these subscriptions to stay updated
