Ajay Devgn is leaving no stone unturned for his much awaited upcoming film ‘Bholaa’, the Hindi remake of the 2019 Tamil film ‘Kaithi’ by Lokesh Kangaraj. Directed by Ajay Devgn himself, ‘Bholaa’ is set to release in theatres on 30th March, 2023 and the promotional campaigns for the same are on in full swing.
Multiple public interactions, behind the scenes glimpses, taking on the “Bholaa Yatra”, consistent and periodic dropping of new posters and songs and much more has been taking place for some time now.
The most recent promotion for ‘Bholaa’ includes unveiling of making of the 6 mins long, bike-truck chase sequence shot in 11 days. Taking us behind the scenes of one of the most important scenes from the film, the video shows how the most ambitious and risky bike-truck chase was filmed.
The scene involving high speed stunts, jumps and crashes which were planned and rehearsed for over 3 months. Makers also claim it to be one of the most impressive and daring action sequences ever filmed.
Ajay Devgn’s last film ‘Drishyam 2’ did tremendously well at the box office and he was also part of two highly acclaimed blockbuster films ‘RRR’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ last year. On the other hand ‘Thank God’ and ‘Runway 34’ underperformed. So overall it was a mixed year for him and this year is about to begin with ‘Bholaa’ which has some pretty good hype.
Ajay Devgn’s dedication for ‘Bholaa’ is apparent given he has also directed the film. And that makes his fans and movie goers more so excited for the film. Will ‘Bholaa’ live up to the expectations of the original and come out as a winner or will it be an unworthy remake will be unraveled in just a week’s time.
