Allu Arjun is currently busy with Pushpa: The Rise. The final schedule is expected to commence towards the end of this month and the entire filming part will be wrapped up with the same. Now, it is heard that Allu Arjun has decided to sideline Icon, which is tipped to be his immediate next project after Pushpa: The Rise, and instead take the project with Boyapati Srinu onto the floors.
Reports suggest that Allu Arjun has shelved Icon and he has opted to collaborate with Boyapati Srinu for his immediate next project after Pushpa: The Rise. For some odd reason, Icon has been in the start-stop phase ever since its inception. One day, it is reported that the project is very much happening, and the other day, reports emerge, saying the project is shelved for good. The latest updates imply that Allu Arjun is through with the project and he has come up with alternative plans.
Boyapati has apparently come up with a commercial potboiler subject for Allu Arjun and the latter is impressed with the same. The Allu hero opines this would be the right film to follow Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun – Boyapati Srinu project will be slotted right in between Pushpa: The Rise, and the second installment of the franchise.
Sriram Venu who scored a decent enough hit with his previous film, Vakeel Saab was hopeful of materializing Icon with Allu Arjun, but as it appears, things aren’t going quite smoothly for the project. Allu Arjun will be the one taking the final call in this regard.
As for Pushpa: The Rise, the film is up for theatrical release on the 17th of December.
