A few weeks back we talked about how Indian films seem to be gaining traction on Netflix when in reality it was just a gimmick. But the films present in that chart were buzzy enough and one could bet their presence in the global view charts.
This does not seem to be the case with Toolsidas Junior which actually made it to Netflix Top 10 and that too in the Global charts.
What’s more surprising is that the watch hours it generated are considerably more than what Radhe Shyam could in its second week.
But miracles keep on happening and this is one more example of that.
This week 4 Indian films made it to the global charts with RRR securing the number one position. Apart from them the list also contains Gangubai Kathiawadi and Jersey and of course, Toolsidas Junior.
Regardless, the film stars the late Rajiv Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt, Dalip Tahil and child artist Varun Buddhadev in the titular role.
It is based on a child who is very attached to his father. Unfortunately, his father loses a snooker match against the star player Dalip Tahil. The young boy takes training from Sanjay Dutt and proves his worth.
Did you also watch this film which had practically no buzz before getting released?
