While it was Kartik Aryan’s blockbuster horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ a couple of days ago, Netflix has now unveiled the news of Ayushmann Khurrana’s ‘Anek’ premiere on the platform soon.
Netflix had earlier today mentioned ‘Anek’ in its June calendar alongside ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ in the coming soon section. The streaming giant has now revealed the same dedicating a separate post for the film. Check it out

Netflix is yet to disclose the release date of ‘Anek’. The film had released in theatres on 27th May, 2022 and as per the current industry standard of 28 days window prior to digital release, ‘Anek’ could very well come to Netflix somewhere between 25th-30th June, 2022.
‘Anek’ follows the journey of Joshua (Ayushmann Khurrana) as he tries to facilitate a peace accord between a North Eastern militant group and the government. On the hand is the story of Aido (Andrea Kevichüsa), a militant’s daughter who’s faces discrimination for her appearance and how it gets in the way of her dreams.
Anubhav Sinha’s political action thriller film ‘Anek’ created quite a stir when it’s trailer came out but failed to deliver at the box office. The film got a mixed response from both the viewers and the critics. Given Sinha’s previous works like ‘Thappad’, ‘Article 15’, ‘Mulk’ and more, ‘Anek’ did not meet the expectations. Moreover, it also got lost between superhit films like ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ and ‘Vikram’.
