Director Anjali Menon needs no introduction. The director has made a name for herself with a stacked filmography comprising of a short in Kerala Cafe, Manjadikuru, Bangalore Days and Koode. She also penned screenplay for Ustad Hotel (2012). An average Indian movie-buff might have watched atleast two of these five films she creatively contributed to. The rage that Bangalore Days and Ustad Hotel were is incomparable. After around 4 years, she is making a smashing come-back at the movies with another goldmine casting.
Internet was taken by storm when actors Parvathy and Nithya Menen shared cryptic pregnancy test results on their social media handles. This was soon followed by Rajisha Vijayan, Padma Priya and Amruta Subash sharing the same image.

However, it seems like the actors were hinting at Anjali Menon’s next project titled ‘Wonder Women‘ they’re all a part of.
After Koode (2018), the director hadn’t rounded up on any project for this long leaving all her fans and well-wishers upset. But it seems like all their worries would be soon quenched. Anjali has stacked a terrific cast on board for her next. Parvathy, Nithya Menen, Rajisha Vijayan and Asif Ali joins Amruta Subash and Padma Priya in major roles. From the looks of it, the film appears to be something regarding motherhood or it could even be about abortion rights. For now we know little about the film’s details. But we are nevertheless excited to see a bunch of Wonder Women being directed by a Wonder Woman herself. Stay tuned for more updates.
