Star Telugu actress, Anushka Shetty was last seen in Nishabdham which has skipped its theatrical release and streamed directly on Amazon Prime Video during COVID’s first wave. The movie failed to impress the audience and the actress is yet to embark on her next project. There are reports that UV Creations is planning a film with Anushka and ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ Naveen Polishetty with Ra Ra Krishnayya fame Mahesh.
Meanwhile, there are rumors that the Leading OTT platform, Netflix approached her for a possible OTT debut. A star director came up with a female-oriented script. Netflix is said to be very impressed and is keen on making it as film or web series basing on the dates the actress gives. The OTT Major also offered remuneration more than what the actress usually gets for a film.
However, Anushka is yet to take a call. Buzz is that Anushka wants to take up the film UV Creations first. The Production house also wants to make the project as soon as possible before the hype of Jathi Ratnalu fades out from the memory of the public. In that case, the OTT debut of the actress will take a while to materialize.
