Applause Entertainment, one of India’s leading content studio backed by the Aditya Birla Group, in association with SonyLIV has today announced two new shows along with four returning seasons.
The two new series include ‘Kafas’ and ‘36 Days’. Not much has been officially revealed about these new shows that will premiere soon only on SonyLIV. But reportedly ‘Kafas’, co-produced by Applause Entertainment and Madiba Entertainment, will star the likes of Sharman Joshi, Mona Singh, Jyoti Gauba, Vivan Bhatena and Preeti Jhangiani among others.
As for ‘36 Days’, reports suggests that the show is helmed by Vishal Furia and is being produced by Applause in association with BBC Studios. Reports also suggest that this new series stars Khushi Bhardwaj, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Sharib Hashmi, Sushant Divgikar, Hardika Sharma, Shernaz Patel, Faisal Rashid, Aman Desai, Palvi Jaswal and Kenneth Desai among others.
As for the four returning seasons we have season two of ‘Tanaav’, the Indian adaptation of Israeli series ‘Fauda’; season three of both crime thriller drama ‘Undekhi’ and military drama ‘Avrodh’; and lastly the much awaited season two of one of the most successful Indian web series franchise ‘Scam 2003: The Telgi Story’.
All these six shows produced by Applause Entertainment are set to premiere only on SonyLIV this year and the details for the same will be unveiled soon. Stay tuned to binged.com for further updates!
