The John Abraham action extravaganza is back. John is all set in donning the producer’s hat once again with the Hindi remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’, the highly successful Malayalam action thriller, released in 2020.
John Abraham coming with an action film is nothing new anymore, seeing his filmography, but as the actor-producer will be remaking a Malayalam film for the first time, it will be interesting to see how he along with the makers approach it.
The story of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum‘ primarily revolves around a conflict between Koshy Kurien, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran, an influential and wealthy ex-Havildar and Ayyappan Nair, a Sub-inspector, portrayed by Biju Menon. The film was released in early 2020 and became a huge commercial success in the Malayalam film fraternity. The film was directed by Malayalam writer-director Sachy.
John Abraham himself confirmed that they have the remake of Malayalam film ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ and they are in the process of putting it all together. He further added, “It is a beautiful film and a perfect balance between action, thrill, and a good story.”
The cast and the crew is yet to be confirmed for the remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ but fans would really like John himself to be featured in the film. John also confirmed that he is also producing another film ‘Tara vs Bilal’, which features Harshvardhan Rane and Angira Dhar.
John Abraham is currently occupied with the shooting of Pathan and the release of Satyamev Jayate 2 and Netflix venture Sardar & Grandson which is also under his production banner.
John Abraham’s JA Entertainment has already produced a number of successful films such as Vicky Donor, Madras Cafe, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran followed by Marathi film Savita Damodar Paranjpe and now, with the Hindi remake of ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’, we truly wish to see John in full flow.
