Have trouble sleeping? I don’t know about you, but this new HBO Max series should do the trick. A-list actors Kate Winslet and Priyanka Chopra-Jones have just joined up with Warner Bros. Production, to lend their voice for their new show, ‘A World Of Calm’. Set to be a 10-episode series, the HBO Max web-series will be based on the popular sleeping/meditation app, Calm.
The show which is set to launch next month on the OTT platform, will have Hollywood heavyweights lending their voices to narrate ‘Sleep Stories’ from the Calm App. Each episode of ‘A World Of Calm’ is set to mesmerize and create wonder among the viewers, by combining beautiful imagery, tranquil and enchanting music along with the captivating voices of our narrators. Image settings for the series is as varied as a noodle maker’s shop to the vast outer space.
The other actors who will provide their voices for the 10-episode narration include Mahershala Ali, Idris Elba, Oscar Isaac, Nicole Kidman, Zoë Kravitz, Lucy Liu, Cillian Murphy and Keanu Reeves. All the actors selected above are known for their iconic voices as well as their acting chops, and they will help us through the new web series by lending their unforgettable voices.
The Calm App is one of the most downloaded apps around the globe, on both Android and Apple Online Stores. Calm produces the series with Nutopia. Jane Root, Nicola Moody, Michael Acton Smith and Chris Advansun will join the show as executive producers, and Sara Brailsford and Fiona Caldwell will co-executive produce as well.
‘A World Of Calm’ is HBO Max’s first entry in to the health and wellness department. It is set to premier on HBO Max on October 1st of this year.
