A24 has released a new trailer for the Ari Aster horror ‘Beau Is Afraid’. The official trailer for the film was released two months ago and fans have been quite excited ever since the makers have announced the movie.
Ari Aster is a big name in the industry basically for his unconventional approach towards the horror genre. After ‘Hereditary’ and ‘Midsommar’, ‘Beau Is Afraid‘ is going to be the third film of Aster with A24. As the teaser shows us, and as we have previously known from the trailer itself, the film is about a simple and innocent man who always had a very troubled bit dependent relationship with his mother. He decides to visit his mother one day and finds out that she is already dead. Beau, the man has to go through many supernatural and eerie threats that evoke the trauma of his childhood and many darker themes up in his mind.
The second trailer is of only 45 seconds but it shows some glimpses that were not previously shown in the first one, like Beau liking a girl while being young and taking a photograph of her carefully and the memory haunting him at an older age.
The film will be having its theatrical release on the 21st of April. Fans are excited as ever and the film will likely be as successful as Aster’s other two movies or even more. Joaquín Phoenix in the role of Beau is a major reason for people going to theaters more than once to watch the film.
